Helen Lacey, Redberry Recruitment

Challenge:

Labyrinth Computers were engaged to manage the IT Support for Red Berry Recruitment’s 2 offices in Shepton Mallet and Yeovil. The offices work interactively with one another to supply high levels of service to all their applicants and companies at all times. Availability is important and the systems needed to be robust, secure, backed up and working efficiently at all times. With this in mind Red Berry Recruitment required a responsive IT support company who recognised what the most critical factors for their business were and who could manage them in the background

Solution:

Labyrinth spent a lot of time gathering information from the previous IT company and carrying out an initial audit of the systems in place to achieve a full overall picture of the organisation and it’s infrastructure. There were some things noted for improvement on this initial audit, for example no formal disaster recovery solution in place and no centralised backup for data in one office. This was addressed and a new solution implemented quickly to minimise risk to the business. Test restores of data were then carried out randomly to ensure the solutions were effective and working.

Outcome:

“I have had the pleasure of working with Steph, Jon and their fabulous team since 2011 where they took over what my previous IT company had left in such a state! Labyrinth had found that with the 2 offices, Shepton had been only backed up occasionally, though we had not been told and Yeovil had no back up at all! They quickly came in, took the headache away from me, sorted out the back up and since then, I have been allot happier with Labyrinth dealing with my IT issues. They are always polite, friendly and helpful on the phone and nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for IT support then these are the people to go to.”
